Hi!

Page 1 shows ALL new activity which can be seen as soon as you go on the forum just like the original format.

Page 2 contains a list of topics which the administrator can allocate posts to once a month...in a previous company I worked at between 1-2 on the last Friday of the month the website was suspended for maintenance.

I am hoping that this arrangement would simply need admin training as it is so similar to what we have here, rather than my rationale of drop down topic menu & automatic moving of posts when they are a week old which would need IT wizardry!!xx

Onwards and upwards is right, there must be a better way of organising posts. It’s excellent that more people are engaging in the forum but if posts are not listed in time order. I worry posts on certain sections will get missed. If this makes sense.

Hi!

I percieve the original format much more user friendly as a regular support group.

I still feel like I am missing posts!! Most people are still posting in General Discussion & only the latest thread shows so others that have been commented on the same day get pushed off the front screen. The topics are still not being used effectively.

Please could you give an update on how you plan to constructed the Forum as I understand it is in constant review? Thank you

I second this.

yes it looks more used and it’s good you are attracting new posters. I also feel I loose the right thread.

most people are posting in general discussion can’t we have the most frequently used posts on the front page and then maybe an folder of information ( and if people post on that thread) it gets pushed to the front page.

Hi Bethlou

I think we have more new Members because more people know about the Forum rather than anything to do with the layout change.

I understand that Police now hand out a Friends & Family leaflet which directly references the Forum with a link so that must be a fairly new thing xx
